Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company that owns and operates the full stack—from energy generation to cloud services—to power large-scale AI workloads. The company is solving the power bottleneck constraining AI compute availability through an energy-first approach. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of Spark deployments, Crusoe's modular data center product designed for rapid deployment in response to grid congestion and labor constraints. Your mission is to drive world-class project execution to meet aggressive deployment targets through 2030. This role requires approximately 10% travel to deployment sites. Key Responsibilities: **Deployment Lifecycle Management:** Manage project schedule, budget, and resource allocation for one or more Spark deployments to hit "Available to Customer" dates. Create and maintain master schedules, identify and manage critical path items, and ensure the project team understands upcoming deadlines. Coordinate with internal and third-party subject matter experts on site design, permitting, procurement, and utility interconnection. Proactively identify and mitigate bottlenecks in procurement, construction, networking, and power readiness, always maintaining a backup plan. **Cross-Functional Orchestration:** Act as the central coordinator between Real Estate, Finance, Manufacturing Planning, Cloud Product, Procurement, Site Design, Construction, and the Spark Business Unit. Establish and run weekly team meetings, supplemented by ad hoc sessions as needed. Manage relationships with third-party contractors and suppliers. Provide high-fidelity executive status updates focused on predictability and critical path, and help develop and maintain a Spark deployments dashboard. **Process Standardization:** Contribute to the creation and refinement of the "Spark Deployment Playbook" to standardize fast, predictable deployment cadences. Meticulously document lessons learned and identify continuous improvement opportunities. You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-ambition environment where you drive projects to completion despite supply chain headwinds and technical uncertainty, maintaining a "no surprise" mentality on timelines, budgets, and deployments. **Requirements:** - 6–8+ years of experience managing complex, capital-intensive infrastructure design and construction projects (data centers, energy, advanced manufacturing preferred; distributed generation energy or multi-site repeatable deployment experience is a bonus) with budgets exceeding $100M - Demonstrated expertise in scheduling software; ability to use schedules as a proactive decision-making tool and know milestones and critical path without pulling the full schedule - Technical breadth and curiosity to manage engineering requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and surface risks across electrical, mechanical, civil, cloud, and network engineering - Experience managing and coordinating multiple third-party service providers whose deliverables impact the critical path - Exceptional communication and organizational skills; ability to read the room, adjust communication style, and maintain clarity and credibility during ambiguity or change - Proven ability to influence and guide project teams to success using trust, persuasion, diplomacy, persistence, and collaboration rather than formal authority - Proven resilience and ability to drive projects to completion despite global supply chain headwinds or technical uncertainty - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience - PMP or CAPM certification preferred
