The Monetization Platform team owns the systems behind Rippling's entire revenue lifecycle: quote, contract, entitlement, subscription, usage, billing, and revenue recognition across products and countries. The platform supports a $1B+ sales base, manages entitlements, metering, and usage-based billing rules, and enables localized billing as Rippling expands internationally.
As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on this team, you will architect and lead the technical strategy for core monetization systems. You'll work on high-impact infrastructure that directly enables Rippling's growth, handling complex challenges around multi-country billing, usage metering, subscription management, and revenue recognition. This is a company-wide technical leadership role where you'll guide engineering direction, mentor senior engineers, and shape the platform's evolution as Rippling scales to new products and markets. You'll collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, and Product teams to ensure the monetization platform remains robust, scalable, and compliant across jurisdictions.
