Salary: USD 170,000 - 227,000 / annual

Ping Identity is seeking a Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer to shape the infrastructure and operations of one of the world's largest identity platforms serving over half of the Fortune 100. In this role, you will work across all facets of Ping's cloud-based services, establishing solutions for building, deploying, and maintaining mission-critical enterprise infrastructure. You will design and deliver infrastructure solutions collaboratively and independently, review work from other engineers, and help shape how enterprise software is developed and deployed through optimized CI/CD pipelines. Key responsibilities include designing and building cloud infrastructure with focus on resiliency, observability, and cost optimization; communicating effectively across the organization; mentoring and sharing expertise with peers; participating in technology evaluation and selection; and maintaining on-call rotation for cloud solutions. Required experience includes scalable distributed systems architecture, production-grade Go/Golang programming, Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration, GCP and AWS cloud platforms, and automated service deployment with strong understanding of deployment automation best practices. You should have experience with Git in team environments and a CS degree or equivalent. Advantages include deep networking knowledge (routing, naming, security, performance), identity and access management expertise, experience with deployment instrumentation, customer issue resolution, distributed team collaboration, and CI/CD pipeline building.
