OneTrust is seeking a Senior Staff Quality Engineer - SDET to define automation and quality engineering strategy across the entire product portfolio. This is a high-impact individual contributor role focused on establishing organization-wide standards and practices for test automation, quality assurance, and deployment validation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define automation architecture and strategy across the full product portfolio, setting the technical direction for how the organization approaches test automation at scale.
- Establish and enforce code-coverage, pass-rate, and deployment-validation standards across all teams and products.
- Own organization-wide strategy for mobile application testing and cloud-based testing platforms, ensuring consistency and best practices.
- Mentor Staff-level SDETs and conduct peer reviews at scale, elevating automation practice and engineering excellence across the organization.
- Lead quality-practice collaboration with offshore teams across multiple geographies, ensuring alignment on standards and methodologies.
- Solve the most ambiguous and complex automation and quality engineering problems across the organization, acting as the go-to expert for hard failures in integrated environments.
- Contribute to long-running deployments and critical initiatives, demonstrating hands-on technical leadership.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience as a developer, automation engineer, or SDET.
- 10+ years of hands-on coding in Java with deep knowledge of OOP and Core Java principles.
- 8+ years of experience with Selenium for UI test automation.
- 8+ years of experience with REST Assured or similar tools for API automation.
- 8+ years of experience in automated testing and continuous deployment environments.
- 8+ years of experience with version control and collaboration tools (Git, Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA).
