ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for the ServiceNow Cloud Platform, which powers the company's global SaaS business across commercial, sovereign, partner-hosted, and customer-operated environments.
You will drive cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, security, legal, compliance, infrastructure, and go-to-market teams to deliver strategic platform initiatives. This includes building alignment across diverse stakeholders in highly matrixed environments, communicating priorities clearly to executive, technical, and customer-facing audiences, and taking ownership of strategic initiatives regardless of organizational boundaries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating customer requirements, regulatory trends, cloud industry developments, and hyperscaler capabilities to inform strategic investment decisions
- Integrating customer feedback, business priorities, and technical constraints into clear product recommendations and execution plans
- Developing executive-level recommendations and communicating complex tradeoffs across technical, operational, and business stakeholders
- Partnering with field teams on strategic customer opportunities and serving as a trusted subject matter expert for ServiceNow's cloud platform
- Supporting market expansion initiatives, regional growth strategies, and evolving customer requirements
- Serving as the accountable owner for strategic initiatives, identifying and closing execution gaps across product, engineering, operations, compliance, go-to-market, and marketing teams
- Demonstrating flexibility by stepping into areas where additional leadership is needed to ensure successful outcomes
This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership beyond formal organizational boundaries, and consistently focuses on outcomes over roles. Success often means stepping outside traditional product management responsibilities to unblock strategic initiatives and drive alignment across teams.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of product management experience in cloud platforms, enterprise software, infrastructure services, or medium to large-scale SaaS environments with a Bachelor's degree; OR 8 years with a Master's degree; OR a PhD with 5 years experience; OR equivalent experience
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
- Deep knowledge of cloud computing architectures and hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms and operational considerations for running cloud services at global scale
- Proven experience defining product strategy and roadmaps for complex technical platforms
- Demonstrated ability to drive complex cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, operations, security, compliance, legal, partnerships, and go-to-market teams
- Exceptional ownership mindset with history of driving initiatives to successful outcomes, even when responsibility spans multiple organizations or falls outside formal role definitions
- Proven ability to identify organizational gaps, create clarity in ambiguous situations, and proactively drive action to achieve business objectives
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and make effective decisions in fast-paced environments
- Experience conducting market analysis, competitive assessment, customer discovery, and research to inform product strategy and investment decisions
- Ability to translate complex business, technical, and customer requirements into clear product priorities and execution plans
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for communicating to executive, business, technical, and customer audiences
- Demonstrated success influencing without authority and leading initiatives across large organizations
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative, and often ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working at a hyperscaler, cloud provider, or mid to large enterprise SaaS company
- Experience supporting globally distributed SaaS platforms and multi-region cloud deployments
- Experience with cloud security, compliance, sovereignty, data residency, or regulated cloud environments
- Experience driving cloud transformation, architecture modernization, or datacenter-to-cloud initiatives
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure, cloud-native AI services, and the impact of AI workloads on platform architecture and operations
- Experience supporting strategic customer engagements, executive briefings, and customer-facing product discussions
