Salary: USD 196,000 - 240,000 / annual
Ripple is seeking a Senior Staff Partner Engineer to join its Partner Engineering team in New York or San Francisco. This is a highly technical role focused on working with strategic financial institution partners to build innovative blockchain-based solutions.
In this position, you will serve as a technical leader and entrepreneur, engaging with partners to identify technical challenges and implement custom solutions using Ripple's XRPL (XRP Ledger) and product suite. You'll assess proposed use cases for technical complexity and implementation risks, develop end-to-end solutions for financial services, and provide world-class technical support to institutional partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with strategic clients and blockchain projects to understand and solve complex technical problems
- Assessing use cases, requirements, and solutions for feasibility and risk
- Developing custom solutions leveraging XRPL and Ripple's suite of products
- Influencing product roadmap and RippleX development based on partner needs
- Collaborating across cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions
- Communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Resolving technical challenges with high execution standards
You bring 8+ years of experience in technology solutions and development, with strong proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Java, Swift, C++, Python, or Rust. Blockchain experience is highly valued, particularly with XRPL. You have proven customer-facing technical experience, exceptional problem-solving skills, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders is essential.
