ServiceNow's Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is seeking a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to build intelligent, AI-powered enterprise software solutions. You will be part of a customer-focused innovation team of researchers, applied scientists, engineers, and product managers working on the AI platform and end-to-end AI-powered work experiences.
In this role, you will:
- Build cloud-based AI/ML solutions that power intelligent enterprise services and transform user experience and workflow efficiency
- Collaborate daily with developers, product managers, and quality engineers to produce high-quality software
- Partner with product owners to understand requirements and own code from design through implementation, testing, and delivery
- Work on solutions that enable any user—regardless of technical knowledge—to leverage AI/ML capabilities in enterprise settings at scale
ServiceNow serves 5,000+ enterprise customers globally and is in early stages of deploying AI/ML solutions to this customer base. You will help build and make available a range of solutions to transform how enterprises operate their services.
The Advanced Technology Group has a dual mission: build and evolve the AI platform while also laying foundations, researching, and de-risking AI technologies that unlock new work experiences. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of applied AI research and production engineering.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Expertise in Java or Python, OOP, Design Patterns, and time/space-efficient algorithms
- Experience building new products that use challenging algorithms
- Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented, modularized, and quality software
- Knowledge of core AI/ML techniques and algorithms
- Knowledge of unit testing, profiling, and code tuning
