Salary: USD 165,500 - 289,600 / annual
ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Information Systems Engineer to lead the technical design, implementation, and optimization of global infrastructure services, with a primary focus on the Hybrid Cloud initiative.
In this role, you will:
- Lead architectural and topology design activities for global infrastructure services
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, including integrated hardware and software solutions, to meet business requirements
- Ensure architecture and design provide reliability and redundancy across all IT services
- Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services aligned with established objectives
- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for supported infrastructure
- Drive automation of operational activities for Windows, Linux, and cloud-related technologies
- Partner with ServiceNow developers to integrate systems technologies with the ServiceNow platform
- Ensure SOX and other legal and regulatory compliance in the infrastructure domain
This is a technical leadership role where you will guide infrastructure strategy and implementation at scale, working with enterprise-level systems and cloud platforms.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the design and development of Windows and Linux IT systems
- Deep experience designing and administrating public cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service in Azure or AWS
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Deep understanding of vSphere ESXi 5/6 and experience deploying and managing highly-virtualized infrastructure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory architecture, design, and configuration in enterprise IT environments
- Experience implementing innovative technologies and solutions in enterprise IT environments
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (including AI-powered tools, workflow automation, or analyzing AI-driven insights)
PREFERRED:
- Experience with other scripting languages (bash, python, vbscript)
- Experience supporting and managing HPC (high-performance compute), preferably SAP HANA
- Experience with REST or SOAP-based APIs
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and DFS in Windows 2008/2012 environments
- Advanced Splunk query experience for operational support
- Architecture, design, and implementation experience with Exchange Online (O365)
- SAN storage experience (Pure Storage)
- Fiber switches, storage zoning, and backup technology experience (Veeam or Commvault)
- Load balancing technology experience (F5 or AVI Networks)
- Relational database experience (Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
- Single sign-on solutions experience (Okta)
- ServiceNow platform experience with IT Operations Management knowledge
- Configuration management experience (SaltStack, Ansible, SCCM)
- Strong security understanding and experience
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
