Shield AI is seeking a Senior Staff Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead critical manufacturing initiatives across multiple defense and aerospace programs. In this role, you will own the design and optimization of manufacturing processes, with a focus on increasing throughput, reducing costs, and scaling operations to meet production demands.
Key responsibilities include building out infrastructure for a new production line supporting a next-generation jet platform. This encompasses selecting and deploying capital equipment, implementing hardware and software manufacturing tools, and establishing robust, repeatable production systems. You will work closely with engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes.
As a technical leader, you will mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
