CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to serve as a technical authority for the design, development, analysis, integration, and verification of electrical systems and hardware for satellites, spacecraft, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.
In this role, you will establish electrical engineering methodologies, advance electrical technologies, and lead the organization's most complex electrical engineering initiatives that drive product performance, reliability, and mission success. You will work cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, systems, software, manufacturing, integration and test, quality, and program teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a technical authority and subject matter expert for electrical systems design and verification
- Developing and advancing electrical engineering methodologies and best practices
- Leading complex electrical engineering initiatives from concept through verification
- Contributing to product development strategy and technical roadmap
- Collaborating across functional teams to ensure electrical design excellence
- Supporting integration and verification activities for space and aerospace systems
