OneTrust is hiring a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure strategy for the Detect & Discover team, which owns Data Discovery, Privacy Automation, and AI Governance product lines serving thousands of enterprise customers across multi-cloud and on-premises environments.
In this role, you will architect and maintain production-grade Kubernetes platforms across cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premises deployments (K3s, microk8s). You'll own the full lifecycle of cluster provisioning, upgrades, node pool management, and disaster recovery. A key focus is developing and maintaining automation using Helm, ARM templates, BICEP, Terraform, and CloudFormation to streamline worker node provisioning on Azure Marketplace and AWS Marketplace, reducing customer setup complexity so clients don't need advanced Kubernetes expertise on-site.
You will lead the container-hardening program by adopting secure base images for distributed components and systematically eliminating CVEs. This includes driving security initiatives across the platform and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards. You'll act as a technical leader, mentoring engineers and collaborating closely with product security, engineering squads, and customer-facing teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the distributed scanning and classification platform.
The role requires deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, multi-cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code tools, and container security. You'll influence technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and drive strategic infrastructure improvements that enable the platform to scale reliably across diverse customer environments.
