Suno is building the world's first creative entertainment platform for music creation, backed by leading investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and NVIDIA Ventures. The company is the fastest-growing consumer entertainment company and leader in AI music. You will serve as a Senior / Staff Behavioral Engineer, making safe behavior the path of least resistance at Suno. Rather than only catching abuse after it occurs, you'll work upstream to study how bad actors exploit the product and where well-intentioned employees fall into risky shortcuts. You'll redesign flows, defaults, friction points, and incentives so harmful behavior is structurally harder to execute. Key responsibilities include: - Investigating how abuse and risk actually happen on the platform and inside the company by reading logs, interviewing support and ops teams, and reconstructing user and employee journeys to identify easy paths to harm. - Designing concrete changes to signup flows, permission defaults, rate limits, approval steps, and verification gates in collaboration with PMs and designers. - Getting recommendations onto other teams' roadmaps by making the case in planning meetings, writing proposals, and negotiating trade-offs without owning the roadmap yourself. - Measuring changes in real behavior through defined success metrics and before/after comparisons to prove impact. - Leading cross-functional root-cause reviews after incidents and near-misses by identifying design factors that made risky behavior easy, then converting findings into concrete backlog items. - Staying ahead of new attack patterns by tracking industry incidents and behavioral science research, designing targeted awareness and training where most effective. - Helping make safe, trustworthy experiences part of Suno's product-building culture. You'll work at the intersection of behavioral science, product design, and security/trust & safety, partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams. REQUIREMENTS Must-haves: - 6+ years of experience in trust & safety, security, fraud, anti-abuse, or risk-focused product work, with technical fluency to dig into logs and data independently and work credibly with engineers on implementation. - Track record of reducing risky behavior through product and process design (flows, defaults, friction, incentives) with measurable before/after results. - Strong influence skills, including a history of getting changes prioritized on roadmaps you didn't own by building trust with Product, Engineering, and Design partners. Nice-to-haves: - Formal background in behavioral science, behavioral economics, human factors, or UX research. - Experience at a consumer tech company at scale, especially with user-generated content, creator platforms, or payments. - Experience supporting security compliance programs (e.g., SOC 2) or being an early or founding hire in a trust, safety, or security function.
