Salary: USD 87,615 - 146,025 / annual
Turnitin is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a strategic technical partner to the sales team throughout the pre-sales cycle. You will be a customer-facing technical expert on Turnitin's Integrity and Assessment products, working with Higher Education and Secondary Education institutions globally.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Serving as a technical subject matter expert and delivering high-impact product overviews and technical demonstrations tailored to prospect and customer needs
• Partnering with sales teams to resolve technical product inquiries, support RFP/RFI processes, and advise on technical, integration, and product-related questions
• Building compelling business cases and value-focused presentations that align product capabilities with client pain points to drive buying decisions
• Managing client trials, pilots, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) with clear evaluation criteria and successful outcomes
• Conducting technical discovery with customer stakeholders (CIOs, Administrators, Deans) to collect requirements, understand technical constraints, and document future-state workflows
• Synthesizing market feedback, competitive insights, and feature requests from customer interactions to inform internal Product and Marketing teams
• Contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused team environment, mentoring peers, and promoting best practice sharing across global Go-To-Market teams
• Flexing schedule across global time zones to support One Team collaboration

REQUIREMENTS:
• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or Technical Consulting in EdTech or Enterprise SaaS
• Strong consultative selling and presentation skills with proven ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to executive, academic, and technical audiences
• High level of intellectual curiosity and ability to work through complex problems
• Proven track record of managing technical evaluations, Proofs of Concept, and RFP responses in complex sales cycles
• Demonstrated expertise with customer workflows, including ability to understand complex integrations, gather requirements, and accelerate change management
• Experience with LMS, LTI standards, and REST APIs is a plus
• Flexible and humble approach, focused on doing what is best for Turnitin customers, people, and business
• Ability to regularly flex schedule across global time zones
