Salary: USD 106,277 - 150,000 / annual
CCC Intelligent Solutions is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support its Auto Physical Damage (APD) Products organization. This is a highly visible, client-facing pre-sales role where you will lead carrier process reviews, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and translate complex claims workflows into clear solution strategies that drive adoption and revenue growth across the APD portfolio.
You will serve as a customer-focused expert on Auto Physical Damage claims operations, bringing knowledge of carrier workflows, organizational structures, and performance drivers to client engagements. Key responsibilities include:
**APD Expertise & Process Consulting:**
- Lead complex carrier process reviews by conducting discovery sessions to map current-state workflows, interpret operational pain points, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Engage stakeholders across multiple levels (adjusters through senior executives), adapting communication to influence both operational and strategic audiences
- Articulate industry best practices and position yourself as a trusted advisor
- Support APD workflows in estimating, reinspection, repairable claims, and total-loss valuation
- Document configuration requirements, integration needs, and technical constraints for prospective clients
**Pre-Sales Excellence:**
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs that connect APD capabilities to client pain points
- Guide technical discovery throughout the sales cycle, equipping sellers with operational and product insights
- Build and deliver executive-ready presentations that articulate client problems, solution value, ROI, and business impact
- Create technical narratives and reusable enablement materials that translate product capabilities into client-relevant solutions
- Anticipate client objections and equip sellers with credible, well-supported responses
- Maintain fluency in product capabilities, roadmap priorities, and industry trends
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
- Build strong relationships with Product Management, aligning on client needs and market direction
- Serve as a connection point between clients and Product, sharing feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Client Success, and Implementation teams
- Support the transition from sales to implementation through knowledge transfer
**Requirements:**
- Five or more years of experience in solution engineering, solution consulting, technical pre-sales, APD claims operations, insurance technology, strategy, or process improvement
- Relevant experience in at least one of: Auto Physical Damage claims or carrier operations; CCC APD solutions or comparable insurance technology platforms; or enterprise solution engineering/consulting/technical pre-sales
- Strong understanding of APD claims workflows, enterprise technology solutions, or technology application within complex client operations
- Proven ability to lead process reviews, technical discovery, or operational assessments; synthesize complex inputs; and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Experience with workflow documentation tools (Visio, Miro, or similar)
- Strong client-facing communication skills with ability to engage senior business stakeholders, frontline users, and technical audiences
- Advanced presentation and storytelling skills, including ability to build executive-ready PowerPoint presentations
- Structured analytical skills to review workflows, organize information, identify trends, and develop practical recommendations using Excel
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Client Success, or Implementation teams
- Bachelor's degree preferred
