Simpplr is an AI-powered intranet platform that unifies the digital workplace, serving over 1,000 organizations including AAA, the NHS, Penske, and Moderna. The company is recognized as a 4x Leader by Gartner, Forrester, G2, and IDC.
As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will own the technical strategy and execution of complex enterprise deals. You'll partner with Account Executives and Account Managers from discovery through contract close, focusing on Simpplr's AI Work Platform, AI Intranet, AI Search, and AI Agents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct deep technical discovery that maps how a customer's HRIS, ITSM, Slack/Teams, and knowledge systems connect, then architect tailored solutions
- Design and deliver live, customized demos and proof-of-concept builds showcasing AI Agents automating real workflows
- Architect and prototype agentic workflows and integrations, wiring Simpplr's AI Agents into customer systems via APIs and MCP tool connections
- Lead RFP, RFI, and security questionnaire responses, translating technical architecture into procurement-ready answers
- Stay current on competitive positioning and arm the sales team with technically credible differentiation
- Represent Simpplr's AI story externally through webinars, conferences, and thought leadership content
- Feed field insights back to Product and Engineering teams
You'll work in a fully remote capacity with a flexible Hub-Hybrid-Remote model available for in-person collaboration when desired. The role offers competitive pay, equity, generous PTO, and a culture prioritizing work-life integration.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years in solutions consulting, sales engineering, or technical pre-sales at an enterprise SaaS company, with ownership of complex deals from discovery to close
- Hands-on fluency with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Amazon Bedrock) — beyond chat interfaces; you've actually called these APIs and built with them
- Working knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and its use in connecting AI agents to enterprise tools and data; practical grounding in RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, and function calling
- Strong command of REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and enterprise integration patterns (SSO, SAML, SCIM, OIDC, iPaaS/middleware) sufficient to architect and troubleshoot real integrations
- Comfort with light scripting or development (Python, JavaScript, or similar) to build custom demo environments and proof-of-concept integrations
- Track record translating dense technical concepts into business outcomes for VP- and C-level audiences
- Sharp, confident presence in live, high-stakes demos with ability to handle curveball questions
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience selling or supporting intranet, employee experience, ITSM, or HR-tech platforms
- Personal experience building or prototyping an MCP server, custom GPT/agent tool, or AI agent integration
- Experience presenting at industry conferences or webinars as a technical AI evangelist
- Cloud or AI platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or major LLM vendor)
