Salary: USD 144,000 - 197,200 / annual
PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to join its Atlanta office on a hybrid basis (2 days/week on-site). This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales, sales, and customer success, requiring a technical and customer-focused professional who can understand complex customer environments, identify technical roadblocks, and design solutions leveraging PagerDuty's AI-first digital operations platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical discovery processes to understand customer environments and identify potential integration challenges
- Design integrations that seamlessly fit with customers' existing technology stacks
- Support sales cycles by handling technical questions in RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for audiences ranging from DevOps engineers to C-level executives
- Leverage PagerDuty's 375+ native integrations to help customers optimize platform capabilities
- Partner with sales, product, and cross-functional teams to drive growth and customer success
- Manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively using project and account management skills
- Demonstrate quick learning, continuous improvement, and meticulous attention to detail
The role requires balancing technical expertise with consultative selling, relationship-building across all organizational levels, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Travel to customer sites as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of pre-sales experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a technical field
- Ability to perform basic scripting (Java, PHP, Ruby, Perl) and fundamental Linux knowledge
- Experience selling SaaS in competitive environments
- Strong communication skills for building and managing relationships with new and existing clients
- Demonstrable knowledge of IT monitoring tools or IT Operations
- Excellent multitasking, self-driven, able to work independently and with cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel to customer sites as necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of monitoring systems such as New Relic, Nagios, Zenoss, Splunk, ServiceNow, and Zabbix
- Familiarity with PagerDuty's space or existing product knowledge
- Experience in both enterprise and commercial sales
