Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Software Testing Engineer to lead QA efforts for Salesforce and integrated enterprise systems. In this role, you will combine strong manual testing expertise with hands-on Java test automation to drive quality across complex cross-functional initiatives.
You will design and execute functional, integration, API, and end-to-end tests across multiple system components. Key responsibilities include leading manual testing activities for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud) and enterprise integrations, developing strategic test plans for complex business logic, and building sustainable automated test coverage using Java-based frameworks (Selenium, TestNG). You'll analyze defect trends and quality metrics to uncover systemic issues, mentor junior QA engineers, and contribute to testing standards and process improvements.
You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to align on testing approaches and quality standards. Your data-driven recommendations will support release readiness decisions and quality gate definitions. You'll manage the full defect lifecycle, from triage through escalation, and track testing metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
Required experience includes 8+ years in software testing/QA engineering with hands-on Java test automation, strong manual test design techniques, and risk-based testing methodologies. You must have solid API testing experience (Postman or similar), SQL/SOQL proficiency, and practical knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins). Experience with test management tools (TestRail), Agile/Scrum processes, and automation framework design is essential. Strong analytical and communication skills are critical for explaining technical issues to cross-functional teams.
Bonus qualifications include Salesforce certifications, background in regulated environments (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA), experience with complex multi-system integrations, understanding of Salesforce architecture (Apex, flows), and security testing knowledge.
