In this role, you will own end-to-end testing strategy and execution across mobile applications (iOS & Android), cloud services, and data/algorithmic solutions. You will develop comprehensive test plans for complex user scenarios including onboarding, sleep and readiness insights, activity tracking, notifications, and subscription flows. You'll collaborate with Product, Science, and Firmware teams to understand feature requirements, data behavior, and regulatory/privacy considerations.
Key responsibilities include:
**Test Strategy & Planning**: Design comprehensive test strategies for multi-component systems, define testing objectives and success criteria, and ensure coverage for complex user scenarios.
**Test Execution & Reporting**: Execute manual and automated tests, validate data flow and algorithm accuracy from ring to app, perform regression/integration/exploratory testing, and visualize metrics (coverage, defect trends, pass rates) for stakeholders.
**Automation & CI/CD**: Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Pytest and Appium for mobile and API testing. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) to enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops. Ensure regression suites are stable and provide high-value coverage.
**Collaboration & Debugging**: Work closely with developers and product managers to debug complex issues, participate in design reviews to bring quality perspective early, and advocate for QA best practices.
**Quality Ownership**: Take ownership of product quality, champion quality standards across teams, maintain test documentation, and mentor junior test team members.
**Process Improvement & Innovation**: Evaluate new testing tools and methodologies, explore AI-driven testing approaches and LLMs, and conduct performance testing against benchmarks.
You'll work across distributed teams in the US and Finland, contributing to a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier lives.
