Salary: CAD 137,600 - 172,000 / annual

As a Senior Software Test Engineer focused on Test Infrastructure and Tooling, you will be a key enabler for engineering teams delivering high-quality software at scale.
You'll own the design and implementation of test infrastructure, automation frameworks, and tooling that empower developers to ship safely and quickly. Working closely with Infrastructure, SRE, and Engineering leadership, you'll drive large-scale test automation initiatives, including AI-augmented agentic testing solutions. Your responsibilities include building software solutions that solve engineering problems, researching and implementing advanced testing approaches, monitoring test environments, and leading quality initiatives across one or more product teams.
You'll contribute to end-to-end test strategy by analyzing requirements, building comprehensive test plans, and designing test cases covering regression, performance, and load scenarios. You'll actively identify improvements in the tech stack, use quality and performance metrics to drive change, and help establish a higher bar for quality across the organization.
Required experience includes 7+ years in testing (ideally web applications), 7+ years working with product teams in agile environments, 6+ years in UI and API automation, and 6+ years with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Kubernetes). You should have 1+ years developing AI-augmented agentic testing frameworks and familiarity with popular open-source tools like Puppeteer, Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
Preferred qualifications include startup experience, API testing frameworks (Postman, REST-assured, Pact), programming proficiency (JavaScript, Java, Python), cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), and strong communication skills.
