The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems combining hardware and software, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to provide warfighters and allies with critical advantages.
As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of imaging systems and software products. Your responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software and firmware products. You will perform thorough functional, regression, and user acceptance testing with hardware-in-the-loop configurations, identifying and documenting software and firmware defects with precision. You will collaborate closely with development teams to debug issues, verify fixes, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance. You must have hands-on testing experience in both Linux and Windows environments, proficiency with Git and common platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket, and experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla. Strong attention to detail, ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience with automated testing frameworks, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and defense or aerospace domains is highly valued.
