As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will help build and scale the systems running the global manufacturing ecosystem. Key responsibilities include designing and developing highly available, scalable backend services in AWS; building and maintaining event-driven, asynchronous systems using Node.js; creating robust APIs (REST/GraphQL) powering customer-facing and internal tools; partnering closely with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to ship features that drive business value; contributing to technical design discussions and driving best practices across the team; debugging production issues and improving system reliability; and continuously improving code quality through testing, observability, and documentation.
You bring 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong skills in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and AWS. Experience with event-driven architectures, database design, and API development is expected. You are comfortable working in a fast-scaling environment, have a track record of shipping production systems, and are passionate about solving real-world manufacturing challenges rather than building toy applications.
