As a Senior Software Engineer, Web, you will design and build scalable, high-performance web applications using Next.js and modern front-end technologies. You will own end-to-end development of web features, from design through testing, deployment, and maintenance. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable front-end features using Next.js, React, Vue.js, and TypeScript; building modular and reusable UI components; optimizing web performance through SSR/SSG, lazy loading, and responsive design; and monitoring performance metrics such as page load time, TTI, and Core Web Vitals.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams to define requirements and deliver features. You will contribute to front-end architecture decisions and engineering best practices, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. You will also partner with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure high standards in code quality, accessibility, security, and automated testing.
The ideal candidate has ~8 years of professional software development experience focused on front-end web applications (or ~6 years with an advanced degree). Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is required. Preferred experience includes performance optimization tools, micro-frontend architectures, Mini Programs/Mini Apps development, SSR/SSG strategies, front-end security best practices, Git and CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. Bilingual English/Mandarin is preferred. Bonus experience includes analytics instrumentation or blockchain-integrated front-ends.
