The Trust team builds risk intelligence products that analyze millions of users annually across dating, car rental, short-term rentals, and other verticals. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will own end-to-end product development from conception through customer impact. You'll work closely with customers, product leaders, and engineers to design and launch new features. Key responsibilities include building and improving APIs, integrating third-party services, and developing scalable event-based architectures handling high traffic. You'll take a customer-centric approach, partnering directly with customer success teams to understand needs and translate them into features. The role emphasizes reliable, maintainable code through testing and thoughtful reviews, running product experiments to guide development, and balancing speed with quality in an ambiguous, early-stage environment.
You bring 5+ years of full stack development experience with advanced knowledge of Ruby/Rails, JavaScript/React, or similar technologies. You have a track record in fast-paced startups or early-stage roles, with an experimentation mindset and comfort with ambiguity. You're an A-player with strong bias for action, raising the bar, moving with urgency, and taking ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes. A degree in computer science or engineering is required.
Nice-to-have skills include experience building scalable architecture for 10M+ users, background in trust & safety or identity verification products, data analysis expertise, and experience with web scraping technology.
