Gemini, a publicly traded global crypto and Web3 platform founded in 2014, is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Trading Systems department. You will design and deliver scalable web applications using React and TypeScript, owning features from technical design through release, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities include defining frontend architecture and building reusable components, contributing to React Native applications for iOS and Android, and developing backend services using Scala or Go on AWS infrastructure.
You will make pragmatic technical decisions, communicate trade-offs effectively, and drive improvements across performance, accessibility, reliability, testing, and security. Code review, mentoring junior engineers, and raising engineering standards are core to the role. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build products that bridge traditional finance with the emerging cryptoeconomy.
Required qualifications include strong production experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; proven ability to build large-scale, production-grade web applications; solid frontend architecture, performance, testing, and accessibility knowledge; and demonstrated ownership of complex projects from design to production. You must have strong communication and technical leadership skills, with willingness to contribute across React Native and backend development.
Preferred experience includes React Native or native mobile development, backend work with Scala, Go, Java, or Kotlin, AWS/Docker/Kubernetes/Terraform/CI-CD proficiency, REST APIs and event-driven architecture, AI coding agents, and familiarity with financial services, trading, payments, or regulated systems. The role is hybrid in Singapore with expectations to work from the office part-time and onboard in-person. Compensation includes comprehensive health coverage, equity grants, paid parental leave, and competitive PTO.
