As a Senior Software Engineer in Robotics, you will be at the forefront of defense technology innovation, crafting high-impact solutions for mission-critical autonomous systems. You'll work across multiple teams on diverse projects spanning artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, sensor fusion, perception, and motion/behavioral planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engineer robust software for autonomous robotics, focusing on perception, planning, and control systems that drive mission-critical operations
- Build scalable and reliable software solutions for next-generation robotic platforms with direct impact on mission success
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle: algorithm research, prototyping, implementation, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Drive innovation to enhance processes and systems while executing rigorous testing and seamless code deployment
Required qualifications:
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on production C++ development experience
- Demonstrated success building software for large-scale data processing and advanced analysis
- Ability to quickly learn and contribute within sophisticated, established software systems
- Proactive drive to develop mission-critical software with real-world impact
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret security clearance
