Gynger is building the agentic credit risk function for tech CFOs, combining AI-driven insights with embedded financing to unlock flexible payment solutions at scale. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in building the infrastructure and AI systems that power Gynger's embedded financing rails. You'll work on designing and implementing scalable backend systems, AI agent architectures, and integrations that sit directly in the credit and risk function of the sales process. Your responsibilities will include architecting solutions for complex financial workflows, optimizing system performance at scale, and collaborating with product and finance teams to translate business requirements into robust technical implementations.
You'll be expected to take ownership of significant technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to technical strategy and decision-making. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, experience with distributed systems or financial technology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, venture-backed environment. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, capable of driving projects from conception through production, and passionate about building products that solve real problems for finance teams.
