Sportradar is the world's leading sports technology company serving over 1,700 sports federations, media outlets, betting operators, and consumer platforms across 120 countries. The company collects and processes real-time sports data for more than 30 different sports, 24/7 globally.
You will join the Live Data App (LDA) Team as a Senior Software Engineer, working on scalable, high-performance services built on top of real-time sports data. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll be an integrated and important part of the team, with opportunities for mentoring, training, and career growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building scalable, high-performance services on top of real-time sports data infrastructure
- Actively contributing to the company's AWS partnership and cloud strategy
- Becoming a domain expert in real-time sports data systems
- Influencing design and technology decisions within the team
- Practicing clean code, test-driven development (TDD), and pair programming
- Collaborating with a global engineering team across Europe, Asia, and the US
The role is fully office-based in Warsaw, with the company emphasizing in-person collaboration as a key driver of innovation, learning, and team connection. REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Hands-on software development experience in React and NodeJS
- Ability to write clean, well-crafted, and tested code (XP, TDD)
- Agile mindset with focus on delivering working software, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Shared values around relations, collaboration, and trust
- Passion for technology
Preferred:
- Knowledge of React Native
- Experience with cloud-based applications and microservices (AWS, Gitlab CI)
- Automation testing at various levels (BDD, performance testing, contract testing)
- Distributed event streaming solutions (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar)
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
