You'll join a founding engineering team building a new AI-driven platform that transforms how life sciences companies manage safety, regulatory, and clinical development.
In this Senior Software Engineer role, you'll own full-stack feature implementation from design through production support, using Python and modern tools like FastAPI and Pydantic. You'll drive technical design decisions alongside Product Management, solve complex problems rapidly, and define engineering best practices for a growing team. Daily work includes production-level Python development, code reviews across experience levels, and strategic mentorship of junior engineers.
The team is AI-first in two ways: leveraging AI to boost engineering productivity while maintaining strong discipline, and building a product that applies AI innovatively to meaningful life sciences problems. Within your first year, you'll have live customers on the platform and a thriving team scaling behind you.
You bring 5+ years of proven software development expertise with production Python experience and extensive background building high-scale enterprise SaaS cloud applications. You're proficient with open-source tools, Git workflows, and modern cloud architectures. You thrive in fast-paced startup environments, mentor and elevate team performance, and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders. High integrity, strong work ethic, and unrestricted US work authorization required.
