ComboCurve is a cloud-based software platform serving the energy sector, specializing in asset evaluation, reservoir management, and financial forecasting. The company helps operators, engineers, and financial teams make faster, data-driven decisions through integrated workflows and real-time analytics.
You'll join the Economics Team as a Senior Software Engineer, owning the design, development, and maintenance of the calculation logic, data flows, and infrastructure powering ComboCurve's Economics engine. This is an individual contributor role focused on writing modern, testable Python code that scales across cloud infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing efficient Python code on structured time series datasets that scales easily across cloud infrastructure
- Owning features end-to-end—from scoping and design through implementation, deployment, and monitoring—working independently alongside the Product Manager
- Designing and building robust data pipelines and calculation systems that support complex financial and reservoir analysis
- Contributing to architecture decisions and code quality standards
- Collaborating with product and domain experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
