The Hivemind Solutions Perception team is building next-generation perception capabilities for autonomous systems by combining state-of-the-art machine learning with computer vision foundations. The team develops vision, vision-language (VLM), and vision-language-action (VLA) models to solve core perception challenges including object understanding, scene interpretation, and mission-relevant environmental awareness.
In this Senior Software Engineer role, you will develop and deploy advanced machine learning models addressing real-world perception challenges for autonomous platforms. You'll own major features end-to-end, from model development through production deployment. You'll work closely with machine learning researchers, perception engineers, autonomy engineers, and platform teams to translate cutting-edge AI research into reliable, mission-ready perception capabilities.
Key responsibilities include building data pipelines, supervised fine-tuning (SFT) workflows, evaluation frameworks, and deployment infrastructure. You'll operate at the intersection of research and production, ensuring that advanced AI models function reliably in complex operational environments on autonomous platforms. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving difficult perception problems while maintaining a focus on production-ready systems.
