As a Senior Software Engineer - Mobile (Software Engineer III) on the Fanatics Betting & Gaming team, you will contribute to the rapidly growing Fanatics Sportsbook app ecosystem. You'll be a fundamental problem solver and growing contributor, combining strong programming fundamentals with adaptability to new technologies. The role focuses on developing features that enhance customer experience and drive business growth across mobile platforms.
Key responsibilities include: developing, testing, documenting, and deploying high-quality software to production; implementing new features from functional requirements through UI with guidance; learning and following engineering principles and best practices; collaborating closely with product, design, and internal stakeholders on technology decisions; participating in on-call rotation for urgent issues; contributing to code reviews and design discussions; and impacting software quality and customer experience.
The engineering strategy centers on Kotlin Multiplatform (KM), which enables rapid, consistent feature delivery across multiple ecosystems. You'll work with modern UI frameworks (SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or similar), embrace data-driven development, operational excellence, and continuous process optimization. The team values object-oriented design, modern coding practices, open-source frameworks, and third-party integrations.
You'll collaborate effectively with team members, contribute to a positive team culture, and be open to occasional travel to Fanatics offices for conferences, events, meetings, and team-building activities.
