You will join the Engineering team as a Senior iOS Software Engineer, working on the mobile app that serves as the primary interface for members to control, configure, and gain insights from Eight Sleep products. The role involves close collaboration with backend engineers, firmware teams, ML specialists, R&D, Growth, Hardware departments, and executive leadership (CEO, CPO, VPs).
Key responsibilities include:
- Shipping high-quality, pixel-perfect iOS features with beautiful animations
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality standards
- Optimizing app performance to enhance member experience
- Owning substantial projects with direct impact on core business and product success
- Contributing to architectural decisions and modularization strategies
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native iOS apps
- Expert-level Swift proficiency
- Mastery of SwiftUI and Combine frameworks
- Experience with various architectures and modularized projects
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Preferred experience includes familiarity with Swift's recent evolution, CI/CD and code generation tools, consumer health/wellness product experience, and App Extensions (Apple Watch, Widgets, Siri).
