Salary: USD 215,000 - 275,000 / annual

The Lending Products team builds the core systems, frameworks, and infrastructure that power Parafin's suite of lending products. As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will own the development of key platform components end-to-end, working closely with product engineers across the company to enable them to ship new lending verticals quickly and reliably. Key responsibilities include: - Independently own and ship platform features end-to-end, from design through deployment - Partner with engineers on lending vertical teams to understand their needs and build platform capabilities that accelerate their velocity - Identify and implement infrastructure improvements to support product development and enhance system reliability - Contribute to engineering culture through thoughtful code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing - Mentor other engineers and drive improvements to team processes and code quality You should have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in a platform or product-focused environment. You care deeply about code quality, are comfortable owning new platform capabilities from the ground up, and have strong fundamentals in system design. Cross-functional collaboration skills are essential—you'll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams. Experience building internal platforms, fintech/embedded finance, or systems with strong correctness and auditability requirements is a plus.
