As a Senior Software Engineer, iOS, you will drive the development and evolution of Truecaller's iOS application, impacting how millions of users experience the platform. You'll work across the entire app stack—from authentication to search features—and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ship new features and achieve the company's vision of enabling secure communication.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain the iOS application with a focus on performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define and ship features
- Debug complex technical issues and architect scalable solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Contribute to technical design and app architecture decisions
- Mentor and guide experienced engineers on both technical and cultural development
- Stay current with iOS development trends and technologies
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from planning through deployment
You bring 6+ years of iOS development experience with advanced Swift proficiency, deep hands-on knowledge of Cocoa and iOS architectures, asynchronous server communication, and UX optimization. Experience with agile development and fluent English communication are essential. Nice-to-haves include SwiftUI, Swift async/await, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Fastlane.
