Justworks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Workforce Payments team, which builds the core computation layer powering payroll, money movement, and tax calculation products. This is a mission-critical role operating at the heart of the platform's financial accuracy and compliance.
You will independently own large-scoped projects from discovery through launch, with a focus on outcomes and customer impact. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve customer challenges
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems
• Promote engineering excellence through technical leadership, knowledge-sharing, and mentorship
• Add capabilities to high-volume, fault-tolerant processing infrastructure
• Enhance testing, monitoring, and continuous deployment infrastructure
• Maintain security and compartmentalization of sensitive financial data
