The platform consolidates fragmented legacy systems into a unified solution with advanced analytics and risk management tools across the wealth advisory lifecycle. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Infrastructure, you will drive projects from conception through deployment while maintaining and improving existing systems. You'll collaborate closely with the Product team to understand and shape functional requirements, then design and implement scalable solutions using Python, Django, and cloud infrastructure. Your work will involve troubleshooting complex issues, reviewing code, and ensuring smooth project delivery across systems handling very large datasets. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with Product to understand and influence functional requirements - Designing and implementing solutions using Python, Django, and related tools with focus on quality, performance, and scalability - Proactively driving implementation from conception to deployment - Writing effective, well-tested code and collaborating with other engineers - Maintaining and improving the existing codebase - Providing updates and feedback to team members Required skills: - Strong proficiency in Python and code-design principles - Experience with Django or similar web frameworks - Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform, IAM) - Proven ability to design, deploy, and manage distributed systems using cloud infrastructure - Expertise troubleshooting and debugging large codebases and complex systems with big datasets - Deep understanding of relational databases with ability to optimize performance on large datasets - Familiarity with REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Celery, Redis, and Git Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with trading or portfolio management systems, data science libraries (numpy, pandas, Polars), and background in Math, Computer Science, or Engineering.
