Salary: PLN 17,000 - 22,000 / monthly
AirHelp is a global travel tech company helping millions of travelers claim flight compensation and access travel protection services. This is an embedded quality engineering role where you join a product team and own quality strategy collaboratively with them, not as a gatekeeper.
You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites across the full application stack: unit, integration, API, end-to-end, regression, and performance testing. You'll build and evolve internal test automation frameworks and shared utilities that improve coverage, speed, and reliability across the engineering organization. Key responsibilities include integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to enable fast feedback loops and frequent production deployments, introducing contract testing between services to make cross-service refactors safer, and turning production observability signals (Sentry, Grafana, ELK) into quality metrics.
You'll collaborate with developers, product managers, and the security team to define test strategies for new features, identify risk areas, and recommend appropriate testing approaches. You'll develop performance, load, and stress tests using k6 to validate system behavior under expected and peak conditions. Additionally, you'll analyze test failures and production incidents to identify root causes, improve coverage gaps, and implement preventive measures. The role involves experimenting with AI-assisted tooling for test generation, exploratory testing, and test data management.
The tech stack includes Ruby/Rails, Golang, Python (backend), React, JavaScript, TypeScript (frontend), PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK/Grafana, Sentry, GitHub Actions, Bruno, Playwright, and k6.
