As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be a technical leader in an agentic-first development team. You'll partner closely with Product and Design to translate customer pain points into high-performance experiences. You will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of medium-to-large scale projects from design through deployment, proactively identify technical debt, and architect scalable solutions for core platforms.
You'll mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions, leading by example in using LLMs and agentic tools to amplify speed while maintaining quality standards. You'll participate in on-call rotations and lead incident responses using advanced monitoring and debugging tools.
Required: 5+ years of software development with proven track record of owning complex features independently. Expert-level proficiency in Ruby or .NET/C#. Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, data modeling across relational (SQL Server) and non-relational stores. You should be an autonomous executor capable of driving problems to completion with minimal oversight, with advanced experience treating LLMs and agentic tools as core parts of your toolkit.
Bonus experience includes cannabis industry or enterprise software (POS, e-commerce, payments), React/TypeScript for full-stack work, AWS cloud-native infrastructure, or prior success introducing AI-assisted workflows to engineering teams.
