Salary: USD 149,000 - 201,000 / annual

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be a technical leader on an agentic-first development team, bringing depth and breadth across multiple technologies. You'll partner closely with Product and Design to translate customer pain points into high-performance experiences, architecting and leading end-to-end delivery of medium-to-large scale projects with minimal requirements. You'll proactively identify technical debt, design scalable solutions for core platforms, and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
Key responsibilities include: driving customer-centric innovation; architecting complex systems; strategic problem-solving around technical roadmap items; mentoring and enabling team members; leveraging LLMs and agentic tools to amplify judgment and speed; and participating in on-call rotations with advanced monitoring and debugging.
You bring 5+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of owning and delivering complex features independently. You have expert-level proficiency in at least one modern backend ecosystem (Ruby or .NET/C#), deep understanding of building high-quality distributed systems, and extensive experience designing complex data models across relational (SQL Server) and non-relational stores. You're an autonomous executor who can drive problems to completion with little oversight, treat LLMs and agentic tools as core parts of your toolkit, and help refine engineering culture and processes.
Bonuses include experience in cannabis, enterprise-facing software (POS, ecommerce, payments), frontend technologies (React, TypeScript), cloud-native infrastructure (AWS), or successfully introducing AI-assisted workflows to an engineering organization.
