As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will lead technically complex projects and serve as a technical multiplier for your team. You'll drive implementation of complex technical projects from concept to production while maintaining high standards for performance and reliability. You'll dig deep into the architecture to identify opportunities to simplify code and infrastructure, prioritizing changes with measurable business impact.
You'll leverage modern AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate your workflow and improve code quality, allowing you to focus on high-level logic and unconventional problems. You'll act as a mentor and coach, raising the technical bar for peers through diligent code reviews and architectural guidance. You'll also partner with product and design teams to ensure you're building the right solution for users.
High-impact domains include Fund Operations (building the core engine for private capital workflows), CRM (developing an agentic CRM for deal teams and investor relations), and Risk & Compliance (scaling infrastructure for security and transparency across billions in assets).
You should have 8+ years of professional software engineering experience. The core tech stack includes Python, Django, React, Postgres, and Kafka, with additional use of Java, gRPC, and AWS. You can break down complex user stories into actionable tasks and execute with minimal guidance. You understand the "why" behind your code and can articulate technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
