The Product Partnerships team builds a secure and efficient integration platform connecting Braze with diverse partners across various domains. A key focus is leading Braze's e-commerce initiative, particularly through a robust integration with Shopify that enables real-time data synchronization and personalized customer interactions.
In this Senior Software Engineer I role, you will take ownership of large-scale projects spanning e-commerce expansion and optimization of complex backend systems powering integrations like Shopify. You will be a driving force behind critical initiatives, shaping the future of the integration platform by designing and coding high-impact, foundational features. Beyond individual contribution, you will contribute to the team's technical and product strategy, mentor other engineers, and ensure the team's work is maximally effective.

**Requirements:**
- Solid track record of full-stack development experience with strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms
- Professional experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, SQL, and NoSQL databases
- Experience with distributed systems, API design, monitoring, and best practices
- Professional experience building software at scale
- Experience with agile processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions with minimal oversight
