The team focuses on transforming in-product surfaces into dynamic, personalized experiences that adapt to user behavior in real time.
In this role, you will own the full stack of content card capabilities—from message definition and composition to targeting, delivery semantics, and analytics. You'll work on both backend systems and a feature-rich dashboard that enables brands and UX teams to manage in-product messaging experiences seamlessly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building new capabilities and features that expand what customers can create on high-value surfaces
- Improving reliability, performance, and scalability of existing systems
- Guiding key architectural decisions as the platform scales
- Driving ambitious initiatives that unlock new ways to present and orchestrate content
- Strengthening platform foundations to accelerate future innovation across in-product channels
- Providing technical leadership through strong system design and clear communication
You should have 5+ years of full-stack development experience with a proven track record of driving complex projects from ambiguity to delivery. Strong fundamentals in system design, data structures, and algorithms are essential. You're a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, comfortable working in collaborative team environments.
Bonus qualifications include experience building software at massive scale (especially customer-facing platforms with high reliability requirements), professional experience with Ruby, Sidekiq, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React, and familiarity with agile development processes.
