Salary: USD 190,000 - 215,000 / annual
Linktree is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Growth team, working on activation, engagement, retention, and monetization across a platform used by 70+ million creators and businesses. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on building and iterating experiments that drive user growth metrics.
You will own the full lifecycle of growth initiatives: identifying high-leverage opportunities with product and data partners, shipping experiments quickly, and translating learnings into durable product improvements. Key responsibilities include building and shipping A/B tests and experiments, designing systems and APIs that power growth experiences (onboarding flows, in-product promotions, re-engagement campaigns), instrumenting product data to surface insights, and improving reliability and scalability of growth infrastructure. You'll work across the full stack including TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL/MySQL, GraphQL, and AWS. The role also involves mentoring peers on experimentation best practices and exploring how AI can enhance both development velocity and product experiences.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with growth or activation focus. Strong product sense with hands-on A/B testing and experimentation experience. Full-stack engineering skills across the core tech stack with ability to ship end-to-end. Experience designing and integrating services/APIs in cloud-based architectures. Comfort with SQL, data modeling, and data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery). Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, Devin). Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners.
