As a Senior Software Engineer on the Transaction Processing - Gateways team in Berlin, you will be a key technical contributor responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining payment processing products. The PPRO Global processing gateway is the core platform you'll work on, and your role involves ensuring it remains fully-featured, scalable, reliable, cost-efficient, secure, and auditable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Making significant architectural and technical decisions that impact the team and company
- Contributing to product strategy and implementation for payment processing systems
- Discovering and implementing solutions to reduce customer integration efforts
- Accelerating time-to-market for new payment methods
- Owning work end-to-end with autonomy and accountability
- Mentoring and influencing team culture and technical excellence
