Truecaller is a global communication safety platform trusted by over 450 million active users across 190+ countries. The company identifies 15+ billion calls daily, helping users avoid spam and scams. As a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack, you will own the B2B platform end-to-end, including authenticated dashboards, complex permissions, subscription flows, regional behavior, and server-side integrations. Your work will directly impact 500 million users, requiring strong focus on user experience and usability.
Key responsibilities include owning features across Vue 3 components, Nuxt 3 pages, layouts, middleware, and server routes. You will build operational workflows such as onboarding, account administration, member management, messaging, webhooks, analytics, billing, and verified-business products. You'll design maintainable state and data flows across namespaced Vuex modules, integrate multiple REST services including region-specific endpoints, authentication, CRM, analytics, telecom, and payment providers. You'll maintain authentication flows covering OTP, 2FA, trusted devices, secure sessions, permissions, and subscription-based feature access.
Additional responsibilities include developing responsive, accessible interfaces with Vuetify and SCSS, writing unit, integration, and browser-level tests for critical workflows, diagnosing production issues spanning browser behavior, APIs, state, permissions, and third-party services, and preserving security protections (CSP, cookies, CORS, CSRF, XSS). You will incrementally improve the codebase, particularly JavaScript-to-TypeScript adoption, component decomposition, and test coverage. You'll mentor engineers, review designs and pull requests, and help establish frontend engineering standards while collaborating across product, design, backend, security, QA, and infrastructure teams.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of web engineering experience, strong production experience with Vue 3 (Composition API, component lifecycle, composables, reactivity) and Nuxt 3 (file-based routing, layouts, route middleware, SSR/client boundaries, Nitro/H3 server routes). You need advanced JavaScript and TypeScript skills, experience with complex client-side state management (Vuex, Pinia, Redux), strong HTTP/REST API knowledge, experience building data-heavy B2B interfaces (forms, tables, filtering, pagination, dialogs, file uploads, bulk operations), strong CSS skills (responsive design, SCSS, Flexbox, Grid), practical web security knowledge, Vue testing experience (Vitest/Jest, Vue Test Utils), ability to independently debug across the full stack, evidence of technical leadership, and clear communication skills.
Desirable experience includes Vuetify 3, Vuelidate, Firebase Hosting and Cloud Functions, Vue I18n, multi-region/multi-tenant SaaS platforms, payment/subscription systems (Chargebee), CRM integrations (Salesforce, Zoho, CleverTap), telecom APIs, browser automation (Playwright, Cypress), and accessibility testing (WCAG).
