Hinge Health is a digital health company delivering evidence-based solutions for musculoskeletal (MSK) pain through personalized exercise therapy and virtual care. You will join HingeSelect, a high-growth product initiative operating as an internal startup within Hinge Health. The mission is to seamlessly connect members with the right care across three modalities: virtual orthopedic specialists, a high-performance network of in-person providers, and a growing surgical care offering.
As a member of the Visits team, you will help scale this product by multiple orders of magnitude through 2026 and into 2027. The team owns HingeSelect's scheduling platform, managing the full appointment lifecycle for first-party visits and extending into real-time booking with third-party provider networks. You will own end-to-end feature development: building React Native experiences that guide members to care and architecting scalable Golang services that power them. This is a unique opportunity to build 0-to-1 features with startup agility while backed by the resources and data of a market leader.
Key responsibilities include shipping high-impact features that drive member growth and onboarding, architecting and extending secure, scalable backend services (Golang, Postgres) that handle 100x+ growth, crafting intuitive high-performance mobile experiences in React Native, and contributing to a culture of technical excellence through clean code, thoughtful code reviews, and technical debt paydown.
Required qualifications: 3+ years of full-time professional software development experience, strong practical coding skills across stack (web, mobile, backend), experience designing scalable APIs (REST or gRPC) and data models, ability to thrive in fast-paced collaborative environments, and passion for the mission.
Preferred qualifications include strong proficiency with AI-assisted development tools, experience in rapid-growth environments building 0-to-1 products, familiarity with the core stack (React Native, React, Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, GraphQL, Docker, Golang, AWS, Postgres, Temporal, gRPC), and experience in healthcare or high-compliance industries.
