Precisely is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Data Catalog engineering team. This is a 100% remote role based in the United States, working with a globally distributed team (primarily India-based). You will take ownership of full-stack features from design through delivery, ensuring reliable platform support during US business hours. In this role, you will independently drive technical designs, own end-to-end product features, and deliver highly scalable, stable, and maintainable solutions. You'll collaborate with architects, UI/UX experts, and fellow engineers to develop innovative products using modern technologies. Key responsibilities include participating in technical design discussions, balancing feature development with operational excellence, communicating effectively across time zones, and mentoring junior team members on architecture and design patterns. You'll contribute to building a platform capable of handling massive data volumes with multi-tenancy and near real-time analytics. The role requires bringing a customer-first mindset while maintaining high engineering standards, and participating in strategy and roadmap development to meet business objectives. Required qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field; 8+ years of enterprise software development experience; hands-on expertise in Node.js, Go, React, and MongoDB; strong full-stack development background; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, microservices); solid understanding of design patterns, architectural patterns, OOP concepts, and distributed systems; experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; strong debugging and production support skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
