You'll join as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (70% backend focus) on one of three core teams:
**Discovery**: Build the intelligence layer transforming hundreds of fragmented data sources (APIs, HTML, legal filings) into structured knowledge about startups, investors, and people. You'll help develop an agentic research system enabling VCs to explore the startup ecosystem through natural language and structured queries.
**Flow**: Harmonic's deal management system built on the knowledge graph. Replace the need to sync between CRMs and external tools by making Harmonic a first-class system of record where VCs manage deals, track companies, and collaborate in one intuitive, performant platform.
**Ecosystem**: Extend Harmonic's presence into tools investors already use, bringing data back into the product as core context.
You'll own customer-facing features end-to-end, from conception through shipping and iteration. Build scalable, performant, observable systems from first principles—from data pipelines to full-stack product experiences. Work cross-functionally with Design, Product, and GTM teams with a customer-first mentality. Ship fast, measure impact, and iterate methodically.
Ideal candidates have 5–8 years building full-stack products at scale, ideally as a founding engineer or early hire who helped scale a product. You have a strong record of shipping high-quality releases, deep CS fundamentals, and experience building and scaling data pipelines for data-heavy products. You excel at turning ambiguity into clarity, are customer-obsessed, and have an interest in venture capital and the startup ecosystem.
