The Air and Ground Deterrence team builds networked sensors and effectors that detect, track, identify, and defeat Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) threats. This team spans product, engineering, sales, logistics, operations, and mission success, developing and deploying the Anduril Air Defense Family of Systems in challenging operational environments worldwide.
As a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) on this team, you will own feature development and rollout for mission-critical products. You'll develop extendable solutions for complex mission sets, build microservices to extend user interface capabilities, and write code to improve products and scale mission capability to more customers. You'll quarterback on-call issues from remote sites to resolve user-facing issues in a timely manner, participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept through deployment, and travel up to 30% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world operational environments.
Required qualifications include 7+ years building React applications, 7+ years building tools and platforms using Go and cloud-native technologies, and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. A strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Robotics is essential.
Preferred qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or Engineering, strong architectural engineering skills, experience with NixOS, containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and knowledge of control software.
