You will join a cross-functional product team as a Senior Software Engineer with a frontend focus, working in an 80/20 full-stack capacity. The role centers on TypeScript and Node.js backend development, with particular emphasis on owning the Server-Driven UI backend-for-frontend (BFF) layer. You'll design and implement backend components that deliver dynamic UI configurations tailored to frontend needs, directly enhancing user experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to solve real user problems and shape product experience
- Designing, launching, and iterating on A/B experiments to drive customer insights and rapid iteration
- Mentoring team members and participating in hiring
- Setting team-wide standards and vision for responsible AI adoption, leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development workflows
- Designing and developing efficient, scalable solutions while continuously improving codebase, systems, and processes
- Strong stakeholder management and advocacy for customer needs
Required qualifications: 6+ years software development experience, expertise in component-based web frameworks, high proficiency in TypeScript, experience designing architecture and deployment of web applications and services, testing experience, and excellent English communication skills.
Bonus experience includes Java/Spring Boot backend work, A/B testing and event-based analytics, Node.js/Vue.js frameworks, e-commerce background, and startup environment exposure.
